Bayer Healthcare Workplace Tour Makes Science Make Sense

Bayer Healthcare offers students a behind-the-scenes look at its Shawnee Mission, Kan., facilities through LaunchPad Workplace Explorations.

Students tour the production and shipping areas, as well as quality control laboratories. During the tour, Bayer employees explain how chemistry and engineering studies will benefit the students in their future careers.

The company began offering the tours through LaunchPad in fall 2007 and continues offering these exciting events today. In addition to offering tours, Bayer also participates in TeacherTech and YouthFriends Mentoring and e-Mentoring.
